Location

Huntingdon is 60 miles north of London, and is in the west of Cambridgeshire. There are excellent road and rail connections making it readily accessible from all parts of the UK. Nearest airports are Stansted and Luton.

By road - Huntingdon is 2 miles east of the A1, the major route from London to the north on the eastern side of England. Cambridge is 16 miles to the east on the A14, and the M1,M6 junction approx 50 miles to the west on the A14.

By rail - Huntingdon is on the east coast main line from London King's Cross to the north, with a regular service.

By bus - Huntingdon is well served by bus and coach services from London and Cambridge, as well as a local network of services.

In Huntingdon

The Museum is in the centre of Huntingdon, approx. 500m. from the railway station, and 300m. from the bus station. If arriving by road follow the signs for Huntingdon town centre and park in one of the signposted car parks indicated from the ring road, and follow pedestrian signing. The Museum is located on the High Street, opposite the end of All Saints Church, in the corner of the Market Place. There is no car parking at the Museum. The closest drop off point is the Market Place, with limited short stay parking. Coaches may drop off at the bus station.
