Museums both large and small are often looking for an extra pair of hands to help out with its many and varied activities. It may be that you are recently retired and have a few hours spare and are looking for something interesting and different.
You may have a specialist skill, a second language, worked previously with children or young people, or you just want to meet with people, whatever it is why not approach your local museum to see if they are looking for volunteers.
