The Cambridgeshire Museums Advisory Partnership (CMAP) is a county wide consultative committee working to support and develop museums in the county. It is made up of museum practitioners, councillors and officers from the Districts and County Council who work with museums.
CMAP supports five key aims:
- Provide a voice for Cambridgeshire museums and promote the work of the museum sector to stakeholders.
- Attract and manage resources for the benefit of members.
- Support the development of museums through the improved standards and workforce development.
- Increase access and learning for the benefit of the people of Cambridgeshire.
- Seek strategic ways of developing museums.
The association is open to all museums in the County and fees are graded according to museum annual turnover.
Minutes of CMAP meetings are available on our Committee meetings and minutes webpage.
