Youth Rehabilitation Order (YRO)

A YRO is a sentence for young people lasting up to 3 years.  It will involve an element of supervision and can have a variety of requirements which are chosen by the court as appropriate for the young person and the crime committed.  These requirements can include for example a curfew, reparation work, substance misuse work (see other court orders listed).

The YRO replaces 9 previous orders and provides flexibility with 18 possible interventions.
