The principal aim of the Youth Offending Service is to prevent offending by children and young people. It is responsible for co-ordinating youth justice services in Cambridgeshire.

The Youth Offending Service is responsible for the supervision and implementation of orders imposed by the Youth Court, details of which can be found under 'court orders'. These orders can include work from specialist support services.
