Assessing your care needs
Extras

How we find out what social care needs you might have...

An assessment is simply a way for us to work out if you qualify for services.

We do this by asking a series of questions about the help you need.

This information is then used to decide how much help you need and whether we can provide you with that help.

You can ask for your needs to be assessed at any time.  You can also ask for a re-assessment if you already have services but you feel that your needs have changed.

To ask for an assessment telephone the Cambridgeshire Direct Contact Centre on :

      0845 045 5202

They will ask you some questions about your needs and whether it is appropriate for you to receive an assessment and if yes, how long you will have to wait for someone to come and see you.
