Can I have a list of residential care homes?

Answer:

The most up to date source of information about residential homes is the Commission for Social Care Inspection, the body responsible for the registration and inspection of residential care provision.

The section on "Find a Care Service" on their website (www.csci.org.uk) lists all the residential care homes in this area as well as the most recent inspection report on each home.  The local office of the Commission (telephone: 01223 771350) will supply paper copies of these lists. OR

Alternatively you can telephone Cambridgeshire Direct Contact Centre on:

and ask for our "Adult Care Services in Cambridgeshire" booklet to be sent to you. OR
