Supporting Guidance for Volunteer Organisations

The attached Adult Safeguarding Policy template would be sufficient for any small volunteer or community group. However, for those volunteer organisations that are specifically set-up to engage with vulnerable adults, or have paid employees we would strongly advise incorporating key sections of the Adult Safeguarding Policy Guidance and Procedures.

Volunteer SOVA Card (48Kb)

The volunteer SoVA Card should only be used as a template by small community or volunteer groups that do not run a service specifically for Vulnerable Adults.

The SoVA Card can also be used by larger organisations as guidance for their frontline volunteers.
