If you feel that you or your family or a particular child or children needs help then you should contact Cambridgeshire Direct on:
between 8 am and 8 pm Monday to Saturday. Outside these hours you can, in an emergency, contact our social care Emergency Duty Team on 01733 234724.
You can expect:
- advice; or
- necessary information; or,
- if the problem is serious, an assessment of the problem by a Social Worker - who will draw up a care plan to address identified need.
Because our resources are limited, we have to target them at people whose needs are greatest. If this means that you or your family are not eligible to receive services provided or funded by us, then we will give you advice as to who else might be able to help you. The criteria we use to decide eligibility for services are available on request.
