between 8 am and 8 pm, Monday to Friday.  Outside these hours you can, in an emergency, contact our social care Emergency Duty Team on 01733 234724.

You can expect:

• advice; or
• necessary information; or,
• if the problem is serious, an assessment of the problem by a Social Worker - who will make a plan of what we will do.

Because our resources are limited, we have to target them at people whose needs are greatest.   If this means that you or yor family are not eligible to receive services that are provided or funded by us, then we will give you advice as to who else might be able to help you.  The criteria we use to decide eligibility for services are available on request.
