Make a difference to a child’s life……and yours!!

Cambridgeshire County Council’s Fostering & Adoption Service is part of the Office of Children and Young People’s Services and provides services for children in Cambridgeshire’s care.

Our Adoption and Adoption Support Teams are very experienced and will provide continuing support and help before, during and after adoption.

Choosing to adopt is a big decision to make, and apart from being rewarding and challenging, it is also life changing. We give advice and support,  honest straightforward feedback and answer any questions you may have.

Cambridgeshire aims to provide a high level of service, and offer the best matches for our children and our approved adopters.

Cambridgeshire County Council need:

  • single people,
  • married and co-habiting couples,
  • people with or without birth children

to help Cambridgeshire children move out of the care system into a family home.

Above all, our children need people to help them realise that they deserve love, care and freedom to trust.
