Cambridgeshire's Childrens Fund Strategic Plan was signed off by the Local Authority and Primary Care Trust Chiefs and met the new Department for Education and Science requirements, of supporting the 'migration' to Children's Trust.

The Children's Fund Strategic Plan sets out the 5 main areas of funding:

1   Sustaining the voluntary and community sector at all levels of decision making
2   Improving the participation of children and young people
3   Preventative services
4   The youth inclusion and support panels
5   The evaluation of home school workers and their continued training.
