Are you a disabled person who is unemployed and would like to work?

If you are a disabled person who wants to look at going out to work, maybe for the first time or after being out of work for a while then there is help, information and advice available to help you.

Throughout the county there are organisations specifically to help disabled people explore going out to work, or even become self employed.  Contact these organisations and access all the latest news and information on the schemes available to you.  They are there to help and advise, not to pressurise you into going to work.

There is help available for special equipment and travel costs for disabled people who are in work or about to start, through the Access to Work Scheme.

The employment and training pages will give you a guide to the help in your area, and tell you about the work Cambridgeshire County Council are doing to help disabled people return to work or go to work for the first time.
