... have your say on services for people with learning disabilities

Wednesday 23 January 2008 - 11.00-2.00 pm The Meadows Centre, Cambridge

Parents, carers and service users, are being invited to help shape future support and services available for people with learning disabilities in Cambridgeshire.

The Cambridgeshire Learning Disability Partnership (LDP) has organised a consultation event at The Meadows Centre, Cambridge, on Wednesday, January 23, 2008. The outcomes of the event will feed into the development of the Joint Strategic Needs Assessment and the Commissioning Strategy for people with learning disabilities.

As part of our continued commitment to involving people with learning disabilities and their carers in driving up the quality of services, we are keen to work with local families and service users to address health inequalities and improve access to services and support.

The consultation event will be between 11.00-2.00 pm, and will take the form of a workshop session. Places are limited and people attending will need to reserve a place.  Refreshments and lunch will be provided.

For further information or to book a place at the event, contact Jean Clark on (01223) 717473 or by e-mail at: jean.clark@cambridgeshire.gov.uk.
