Mental Health Services in Cambridgeshire

Where to get help

If you, or someone you know, has issues around mental health their first point of contact should be their GP (General Practitioner).

The GP will refer people to specialist services as appropriate to  individual need.  If there are social care needs associated with mental health problems then a referral will be made by the GP also.

Services for people with mental health problems in Cambridgeshire are the responsibility of the Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Mental Health NHS Trust.  If you wish for any further information about the Trust please visit their website at  http://www.cambsmh.nhs.uk

A vast source of health promotion advice, signposts to voluntary sector support etc as well as statutory service information is included in the Cambridgeshire Mental Health Information website:
www.cambsmentalhealthinfo.nhs.uk
