A new way for people to have a say about health and social services.

The Government White Paper “Our Health, Our care, Our Say” set out a commitment to create services centred on the needs of the individuals and local communities.  People who use services should have more choice and a louder voice.

Every local authority with responsibility for social services is required to set up a LINk within their area.

LINks will be a new network of organisations and individuals which will build on existing community networks. LINks will replace and build on the work of the Patient and Public Involvement Forums (PPIF’s)

Cambridgeshire LINks will make it easier for local people to have a voice in shaping the future of health and social care.
