The audit of services for adults are the responsibility of the Social Care Quality and Practice Standards Team, whose purpose is to:

• ensure that adult support services in Cambridgeshire meet the department's service standards and operational guidelines using Internal Audit as a tool to promote continuous improvement
• support our staff by training them and equipping them with skills they need in order to do a good job meeting customer need and expectations
• suggest ways to improve what we do so people get what they want
