The introduction of Self-Directed Support and Personal Budgets means that social care providers need to make changes to their businesses as individuals take control of and have more choice over how their social care needs are met.
You will need to plan flexible ways of delivering services that meet the needs that individual service users are requesting. You will need to adapt your services to think about the role your organisation will play; how to individualise your existing services; and how your organisation will put service users in control of their own support.
