The Supporting People team works with the following groups to provide housing related support with housing providers and partner organisations.
These groups are:
Cambridgeshire Community Wellbeing Board
This board is a formally recognised thematic strategic partnership within Cambridgeshire Together.
The main purpose of the Partnership Board is to ensure that local agencies work together effectively to improve the health and well-being of Cambridgeshire residents. This incorporates preventive services, support for independent living and provision of health and social care.
The core membership of the board consists of elected council members from the District Councils and the County Council and representatives from:
- NHS Cambridgeshire
- Cambridgeshire Police Authority
- Cambridgeshire Fire and Rescue Service
- Cambridgeshire Probation Service
- Voluntary/Community Sector
- the Business Community
- Cambridgeshire and Peterborough Association of Local councils
Supporting People Commissioning Body
This is a group of senior officers from the district councils, the county council, probation and NHS Cambridgeshire who set the direction of the Supporting People programme e.g. they would agree which areas of work the team should most concentrate on.
Supporting People Development and Implementation Group
The Development and Implementation Group had its final meeting in April 2011. Commissioning Body decided to disband this regular meeting in favour of an approach with time limited project groups taking forward specific pieces of of work.
