Q. What do I do if I move house and/or if my child changes school?
You will need to compete a new transport application form. The form can be sent to you by calling 0845 045 5208 or downloaded. Please ensure that you complete the school transport form if your child is school aged (pre-16) or the post-16 form if at college. Use the links on the right hand side to download the corrrect one.
Please enclose your child's current bus pass with your application.
If your child is still entitled to transport to their school/college then you will be issued with a new pass.
Q. I have moved house and my child is currently studying for their GCSEs or A-Levels (or another public examination course) and I do not want to move them from their school/college. Am I entitled to transport for my child back to their school/college?
Free transport or assistance with transport costs may be provided if the child has been attending their catchment or designated school/college.
Provision of transport/assistance with costs will only be provided if:
- the home to school/college distance is greater than 3 miles; and
- the journey time does not exceed 1 hour 15 minutes; and
- existing transport can be used.
Important note: In the case of pupils/students in Year 10 or Year 12, provision of transport/assistance with costs will only be provided if they meet the criteria above and the house move takes place after October.
Q. What do I do if my child no longer requires their bus pass?
