Highway boundaries / highway extents

The CON29R question only requires the status of the highway to be declared.  It does not require the extent to be given.

Cambridgeshire has a large highway network with over 4000km of public highway, and an additional 3000km of public rights of way which are recorded on a separate legal document called the 'Definitive Map and Statement'.  There is an ongoing project to identify and record the extent of all highways, however, the majority of the county remains un-researched.

If you need to know the extent of the highway then this must be requested under a separate enquiry.

Please note that there is a charge for this service, currently set at £26.90 for simple enquiries, and for more complex and time consuming enquiries an estimate can be provided for you.

If you wish to enquire about the extent of the highway, please provide a detailed map of the area in question, and direct your enquiry in writing to the address provided.
