Before scaffoldings or hoardings may be placed in the highway, a permit must be obtained. 

Cambridgeshire County Council charge £80 per month.  Before submitting an application for a scaffolding or hoarding permit within Cambridge City, contact Cambridge Highways Division to arrange a site meeting to discuss your proposals.

Where applications are extended, further charges will be made. Any application must be accompanied by the fee.
