The County Council is responsible for traffic lights within the County of Cambridgeshire including Cambridge City
If you see any faults please report them to Cambridgeshire Direct on 0845 045 5212
or by email to Cambridgeshire.Direct@cambridgeshire.gov.uk, between 8:00am and 8:00pm, Monday to Saturday
Outside of these hours please report any faults to Cambridgeshire Constabulary on 08454 564 564.
Please be as clear as possible about the fault and its location. Some sites have numbered poles which will help to identify the fault.
The response time for repairing faults such as twisted traffic lights and faulty red lights is within 2 hours and for all other faults such as faulty green lights is by the end of the next working day.
Installations where all the lights are all out will be repaired within 24 hours except for electricity supply faults.
The time to restore the electricity supply will depend on the amount of work involved.
Answering your enquiries
If you write or e-mail us we will give you a reply within ten working days. For complex problems we will let you know what is happening within ten working days and keep you regularly informed of progress.
