How much traffifc is the new road expected to carry?

Answer:

Once all development in the area is complete in around 2023, the new road is expected to carry 21,500 vehicles a day between Hauxton Road and Shelford Road.

Approximately 10,200 vehicles are expected to use it between Clay Farm and Addenbrooke’s Hospital. In comparison, at present, Shelford Road receives approximately 9,000 vehicles a day, while Trumpington High Street has in excess of 20,000.
