The new road will start at Hauxton Road opposite the Trumpington Park and Ride Site. It will then travel eastwardly and cross with Shelford Road in between Exeter Close and Merryvale on the western side of Shelford Road.

Where the road crosses Shelford Road, five properties will need to be demolished. These houses are 107, 109, 110, 111 and 113 Shelford Road. The housing developer, Countryside Properties, currently own all five houses.

The road will then continue in an eastwardly direction until it crosses the railway line and heads north towards the Addenbrooke’s Hospital site.
