Have your say
Between January and October 2008 after public consultation, Cambridgeshire County Council made a wide range of changes in the Drummer Street, Emmanuel Street, Regent Street and St Andrew's Street area.
These new measures, known as Core 4, were designed to improve bus services, reduce congestion, improve safety and air quality, and enhance the environment for all users. Now they are in place we want your views on them.
These measures included the following:
- Installation of a rising bollard/closure point in the northbound carriageway of St. Andrew’s Street near Park Terrace
- Relocation of National Express X5 long distance bus services to Parkside.
- One-way traffic flow in Emmanuel Street with a contra-flow cycle lane.
- Redesign/relocation of bus stops in St Andrew’s Street, Drummer Street and Emmanuel Street.
- Reconstruction and resurfacing of roads and footways.
