The Road Safety Engineering Team are asking for your views on a proposed accident remedial scheme for Mill Road, Cambridge. The length of road from the Coleridge Road junction to the junction with Mortimer Road has been identified for a Medium Sized Traffic Management and Road Safety Scheme to reduce injury accidents.

There are high numbers of accidents along this length of Mill Road, particularly involving pedestrians and cyclists. In recent years two sections, one east and one west of the rail bridge, have had some of the highest rates of injury accidents in the county.

We would like to get your opinions on proposals for a range of measures to reduce these accidents, without taking away the unique character of Mill Road.
