Construction on a new foot & cycleway along the A1123 plus two pedestrian crossings between Hartford and Wyton is now almost complete.
The new section of path runs on the south side of the A1123 from Hartford Marina and to just east of the garden centre. The black-topped, shared-use path is generally 2.5 metres wide.
Two new pedestrian crossing areas have also been built, similar to the one near the Marina entrance. These new crossings over the A1123 will be at the end of the new path, just east of the garden centre, and at the junction into Wyton village.
The final piece of work, painting the white lines, can be completed when the weather is dryer.
