Sawston to Babraham
Construction of a new high-quality cycleway linking the villages of Babraham and Sawston is complete.
The new two and a half metre shared use path is a mile long and is set back from the road, providing benefits for both cyclists and pedestrians.
The path cost £350,000 to build and was funded by developers of the expansion of Granta Park.
Babraham to Abington
The scheme includes making improvements to the existing route between Babraham and Abington, which will be carried out in the next phase of work.
Discussions with land owners and the parish councils are ongoing regarding the land required and waiting restrictions.
