During this season a Quad bike and brine sprayer is being used to treat some longer lengths of the network within Cambridge City and knapsack sprayers in other areas.
The quad bike is being used to treat the primary on- and off-road network of cycle routes within the ring road as identified in pink on this map(1113Kb). The quad bike is deployed when there is a forecast of five days or more of icy weather.
