Please show me accidents and cluster sites on a map
The accidents layer shows personal injury accidents, reported to Cambridgeshire Police, that occurred during 2005, 2006 and 2007.
The year of occurrence and severity is shown for each accident.
Accident sites
Accident cluster sites are shown as thick red boundaries. A cluster site is defined as a junction or 100 metre length of road (in a 3-year period) with: 6 or more inury accidents; 3 or more fatal or serious accidents; or 5 or more injury accidents providing that one of them is fatal or serious. A "sliding scale" is used for the number of accidents required for a longer length of road to become an accident site.
The associated data shows accidents for 2005 to 2007 and an overall "score". The score is determined by the number of accidents, their severity (fatal accidents contribute more than serious, which contribute more than slight) and the length of road.
