In order to ensure that School Travel Plans (STPs) remain useful documents for the school, the plans require a school to commit to:
- Reviewing and amending data, objectives, targets and actions every school year or sooner, if circumstances should change
- Producing an Annual Progress Report (APR) each year
- Fully reviewing the STP every three years
