The Highway Policies Document sets out the policies and standards that apply to the management, maintenance, improvement and operation of the highway network in Cambridgeshire excluding the rights of way network, motorways and trunk roads. It is divided into two main sections
- Highway operation and development
- Highway maintenance
This is a sister document to the Network Service Plan and will be reviewed on an annual basis.
The document is sponsored by the Director of Highways and Access, and identifies the relevant Head of Service responsible for the review and monitoring of each of the policies and standards set out within the document.
