These pages contain details of Cambridgeshire County Council's previous transport strategies, plans and policies. Although they are no longer current, they may provide useful background information for those wishing to know more about transport in Cambridgeshire.
Local Transport Plans (LTPs) set out overarching transport policy for the whole of Cambridgeshire. The first Local Transport Plan (LTP1) covered 2001-2006 and the second (LTP2) covered 2006-2011. An interim Local Transport Plan covering 2004-2011 was also produced during the LTP1 period.
The Long Term Transport Strategy was produced in 2005 and looked at transport in Cambridgeshire up to 2021. It was used to guide the development of the LTP3 (2011-2026) and has now been replaced by LTP3.
An Accessibility Strategy was produced in 2005 as part of LTP2. LTP3 does not contain a separate Accessibility Strategy, however instead accessibility is included as a key issue throughout LTP3.
