Our proposals for tackling congestion in Cambridge
In October 2007, we submitted a bid to the Government’s Transport Innovation Fund (TIF) for a £500 million package of measures to tackle congestion in Cambridge.
The proposals include:
- Large scale improvements to public transport, highways, walking and cycling facilities;
- A congestion charge in Cambridge
The aim of these pages is to give more information on what we are proposing. The pages on the left explain the different aspects of the proposals, including the wide-scale improvements to public transport, cycling and walking facilities, as well as how a congestion charge may work. You can also view the formal bid that we have made to the Government, along with the supporting reports.
