If our bid to Government were successful, these sorts of improvements could be delivered sooner and be paid for by other existing funding sources.

Improving sustainable transport into Cambridge

28% of East Cambridgeshire residents commute to Cambridge or South Cambridgeshire. Congestion into and around Cambridge will get much worse without real and sustainable transport alternatives:

• More train services from Ely to Cambridge and improvements to the train station 
• More bus services to villages and more direct routes
• Doubling the parking spaces at Park & Rides
