Transport studies

These pages contain links to a number of studies which have been carried out in order to provide information or evidence about the different transport issues which Cambridgeshire faces.

The Delivering a Sustainable Transport System (DaSTS) study (June 2010) was called 'Access to and around Greater Cambridge' and looked at how transport relates to the Cambridgeshire economy.

A number of studies and reports were undertaken as part of the work on the Transport Innovation Fund.  These looked into what measures could help reduce traffic levels, provide high quality and accessible transport and promote Cambridgeshire's economy.

Cambridgeshire is growing fast, and in order to plan for new developments, studies are sometimes carried out to make sure that the county's transport system is able to support these new developments or what new infrastructure/services may be needed.  Studies carried out include the Cambridge North West Transport Study (2007) and the Cambridge East Transport Study (2006).
