The Cambridgeshire County Council’s Children and Young People Committee is continuing to meet in different locations around the county to enable local communities to engage with the committee and see democracy in action.
The September committee meeting will be held on Tuesday 10 September at 2pm in the Civic Suite at Pathfinder House, Huntingdon – the Huntingdonshire District Council offices. Previous meetings have been held in Ely and March and the meeting on 12 November will be held at South Cambridgeshire District Council offices in Cambourne. Holding these meetings in district council offices has also helped to strengthen links with our partners.
Chairman of the committee Councillor Simon Bywater, said, “We want to get out and about to make it easier for people living in other parts of the county to attend and to see at first hand the work we do to support children and young people in the county. I would urge residents of the Huntingdon area with an interest in local democracy or in issues related to children and young people or education to come along.”
