The Data Protection Act allows access to personal information about you that is held by Cambridgeshire County Council. You can ask to see this by making a subject access request. Please complete and return the Access to your Information form
Requesting information for somebody else
If you have the authority to represent another person you can submit a request on their behalf for their information.
Generally a person with parental responsibility can submit a request on behalf of the child if they are 12 years old or younger. When a child is over 12 years old they are normally considered to be old enough to make a request themselves.
If you wish to make such a request please complete and return the Access to information on behalf of somebody else form (with photocopies of identification documents as listed on the form).
Please send to: Information Management

How long will a request take?
Under the Data Protection Act the County Council must respond to your request within 40 calendar days. This 'clock' does not start until the council has received all information required to process your request. You can find more information on this in the council's Data Protection Policy below.
