The Melbourn Coronavirus Community Response Team was set up in Melbourn, South Cambridgeshire in March 2020 from Melbourn Hub and is now operating remotely from volunteers' homes. With the support of existing key local organisations, Melbourn Timebank, Melbourn Hub and the Parish Council, a team consisting predominantly of volunteers has been established to assist if your usual support is unavailable and you fall into one of these categories:
- CLINICALLY EXTREMELY VULNERABLE
- SHIELDING
- instructed to SELF-ISOLATE by NHS Test & Trace or by the NHS COVID-19 App
Assistance is available for the following:
- Collecting and delivering prescriptions
- Food bank collections
- Hearing aid batteries delivery (supporting Cambridgeshire Hearing Help)
- Maintaining telephone social contact to combat loneliness

- Monday:10am – 5.30pm
- Tuesday:10am – 5.30pm
- Wednesday:10am – 5.30pm
- Thursday:10am – 5.30pm
- Friday:10am – 5.30pm
- Saturday:10am – 12.30pm
- Sunday:Closed
