Eligibility

Parents and families

Child and Family Centres are available for parents and families with children aged 0-25.

Sometimes children, young people, adults and families need additional or more targeted support. We use the Early Help Assessment to assess the needs of your family and make sure you get the help you need as quickly as possible. The process is voluntary, you can choose whether to be involved and you can withdraw from the process at any time.

To find out more about the Early Help Assessment you can speak to the person who suggested it, another professional who knows you and your family, or contact the Early Help Hub: early.helphub@cambridgeshire.gov.uk or call :01480 376 666 (office hours).

Professionals

The Integrated Front Door is the term used to cover the services that work across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough to manage the referrals received in respect of children and young people. It includes the MASH, the Emergency Duty Teams (Adults and Children) and the Missing Exploited and Trafficked Hub and the Early Help Hub.

The Early Help Hub is where access to targeted early help services in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough is coordinated. This could lead to support from the District Early Help Teams.
