Thriplow Waste Recycling Centre

A road closure on the A505 over the next 2 weekends (17 October and 18 October) and (24 October and 25 October) will affect access to Thriplow Household Recycling Centre, particularly from an Easterly / M11 / Sawston direction.
Enter "Gravel Pit Hill, Royston, SG8 7HZ” in the search box in the top right hand corner of the screen, select next two weeks from the drop down list and zoom in on the area of interest. Then click on the road closure symbol on the map for diversion route details.

Thriplow Household Recycling Centre is open for residents who have essential waste that cannot be stored safely at home.
All visitors must book a time slot to enter Thriplow Household Recycling Centre, including e-permit holders.
Please go to our Household Recycling Centres page before visiting - where you can book a time slot, check whether your vehicle requires an e-permit, and view the measures and restrictions in place due to Covid-19.
There are nine Household Recycling Centres (HRCs) in Cambridgeshire. They are managed by Amey under contract to Cambridgeshire County Council.
HRCs are provided for Cambridgeshire residents to bring their household waste.

April to September - 8am to 5pm, seven days a week
October to March - 8am to 4pm, seven days a week
Entrance gates shut 10 minutes before closing time
The centre operates Sunday opening hours on bank holidays. It is closed from 1pm on Christmas Eve and closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day.
