We’re looking for volunteers from in and around Cambridge area to help with our shop; we have looks of opportunities here if you want to improve your English communication skills getting and learning basic retail and communication skills. If you want to gain paid employment in the retail industry in the future, Oxfam Burleigh Street is the place to start.

We are always wanting more volunteers to help run our tills and keep the shop hours maximized and give great customer support at the till and around the shop itself. Duties will also include stocking the shop up, making the shop look presentable every day throughout the day and supporting the manager and deputy managers in whatever needs to be done. ROLE TYPES

Clothing retail.

Oxfam GB supports communities in the developing world, providing aid, help, care and wellbeing to those in need. We also provide disaster relief during emergencies.

We raise money for good causes through our 600 or so shops in the UK that sell second hand items, and fairtrade handmade items from communities over the world we work with. There are always bargains to be found in our stores.

To do our work, we rely heavily on volunteers. There is a wide range of roles that can suit anyone. We pride ourselves in helping volunteers grow and blossom while they are with us.
For as little as a few hours a day, you can help make a real difference around the world and in your local community. We need volunteers to volunteer join our team at Oxfam Burleigh Street off the Grafton Centre in Cambridge, were recruiting for some retail volunteers to train up to be retail specialists.
