Wood Green The Animals Charity - Covid-19

The Pet Support team can answer general enquiries or arrange a FREE behavioural advice consultation over the telephone with our experienced and qualified behaviour and training specialists. Other ways we can help pet owners who are experiencing temporary financial difficulties may include:

Pet food assistance: support with food is available for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and small animals and we may be able to deliver pet food to owners’ homes. To ensure the safety of everyone involved and to comply with social distancing recommendations, the food will be left outside of the home for the owner to collect so that they do not need to come into contact with the delivery driver.

Flea and worming treatment: Preventive treatment can be sent out in the post after a telephone consultation with the owner. All aspects usually involved will be performed over video or audio call.

Eligibility

Some conditions apply to qualify for financial support but we will still be able to provide advice and guidance to help the customer consider alternative options.

Customers can contact us directly and do not have to be referred via an agency or other charity.
