Young People's Workers

The role of a Young People's Worker is to provide specialist support for young people needing help in the transition to adulthood. Young people can access individual support or support via group work following a self referral or a professional referral to their District Team.


Parents of children aged 0 to 19 years (up to 25 years if child has disability) who need support and help with their parenting.


Referral to a Family Worker can be through your local Child and Family Centre, your child's school or via a professional working with you. Parents can also self refer for the parenting courses.
