Updating the National Street Gazetteer

Instructions

For additions to the National Street Gazetteer (NSG), please fully complete the form giving as much information as possible. If any information required to create/amend a record is not given, that record's entry may be delayed.

For amendments, please complete the submitting Authority name and Code, the NSG Reference and only those fields requiring amendment.

Once the NSG has been update an email will be sent to the submitter, confirming entry of the record with its details. If the email address is entered in the form below, a copy of this form will be sent to that address, confirming delivery.

You will be asked to provide information about yourself to enable us to log and process your request.

Your personal information will be collected and used in line with Data Protection legislation to provide you with the service you request under the Council’s public task and responsibilities under the New Roads and Street Works Act.

Information will only be shared with other organisations where this is needed to provide the service you request, or if we are under a legal requirement to do so. Typically information is only shared if another team or council is responsible for the matter that relates to your enquiry.
