A school in Yaxley has been named as one of the happiest in Britain – for the second time.

Fourfields Community Primary School was highly commended in the Happiest School category at the Laughology National Happiness Awards on Friday 21 November. The school scooped the top spot in the awards in 2017.

Sue Blyth, Headteacher at Fourfields said, “At Fourfields we place wellbeing, happiness and care at the centre of everything that we do. Our school motto is SHINE – which stands for Success, Happiness, Inspiration, Nurture and Excitement and this runs through everything we do at the school.

“Fourfields is a truly happy school and I’m delighted that our commitment to wellbeing has been recognised for a second time.”
