Cambridgeshire County Council is launching its county-wide Apprenticeship Awards to help recognise and celebrate the commitment, hard work and achievements of apprentices and companies that support our apprentices.
All nominations for the apprentice categories must be for current apprentices or apprentices who have completed their apprenticeship in the last 12 months (1 January 2022 – 31 December 2022) and either live or work in Cambridgeshire.
Anyone can nominate an apprentice for an award on our website.
You have until 5pm on Monday 5 December to get your entries in.
An awards ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 8 February 2023 to coincide with National Apprenticeship Week at New Shire Hall, Alconbury Weald.
Cllr Lucy Nethsingha, leader of Cambridgeshire County Council, said: “Apprenticeships are a superb way to help people into their chosen career.
“There are many companies and individuals which have benefited from apprenticeships so it is fitting we celebrate their achievements and highlight their examples for others to follow.”
Cllr Bryony Goodliffe, chair of the council’s Children and Young People Committee, added: “This year’s awards were a great success and it’s great to see them being held again in 2023.
“I would urge people to submit their nominations by the deadline and I can’t wait to see the responses we receive!”
