Wisbech Art Festival hit the right note on Saturday with the unveiling of a prototype harp built at the Rosmini Centre, Wisbech.

The harp was made by local tutor Jon Wicks and was on show to inspire potential adult learners to take part in an upcoming course in the autumn.

The aim of the course is to develop adult’s confidence when it comes to woodwork and develop skills that could be used in the workplace.

The course will be delivered by Jon Wicks at the Rosmini Centre. The project has come about from the partnership work of the Rosmini Centre, Kings Lynn’s Bow Brand Strings, Cambridgeshire County Council’s Adult learning and Skills and Rohan Platts, a Cambridgeshire Music Harp tutor.

For more information about the course, call Jon Wicks on 01945 474422 or Nyree Scott on 07881837543.
