Huntindonshire Archives is holding a free drop-in event on Thursday 19 November, 11am-1pm in the searchroom at Huntingdon Library for residents to discover more about Huntingdonshire and World War II. There will be an exhibition and a chance to explore original photographs, maps and documents from the time. There will also be an opportunity to find out more about a volunteer led project to index war era editions of the Hunts Post. 

Cambridgeshire County Council's Archives and Local Studies Manager, Alan Akeroyd said "Our expert staff will also be on hand offering tips and advice on our archives "“ we'd really encourage residents to come along and see what they can discover."
