A brand new job club for St Neots where local people can career towards new opportunities is being launched at the library in the town.

The job club starts on Friday 27 May between 10 am and 12 pm at St Neots Library. It will then run every Friday at the same time and everyone is welcome to drop in.

It aims to help people by giving them the key skills needed to find work. Support includes:

·         Helping to find vacancies

·         Making contacts and building a network

·         Developing a CV

·         Improving your IT

·         Help with interview skills

Trained staff from Cambridgeshire County Council™s Adult Learning  and Skills team will be on hand to provide support.

Rachel Carpenter, Area Manager at Cambridgeshire County Council, said: œThis club will help people who are looking for work or the next stage in their career. Experienced staff will be on hand to provide friendly guidance, advice and training to help you in your succcessful job hunt.
